I had a great time in new York City! - July 30, 2010

Hi everybody,
Just a quick note to let you know that we had a great time in the East Coast.
Newport Rhode Island was beautiful and my sister had a great wedding anniversary party in a gorgeous hotel overlooking the ocean. Paris, Luana, Marcia, my sister from Brazil, Giovanna, my niece and Cida a new friend from Brazil were also there.
It was great.
Boston was also awesome. what a beautiful town; I had lived there for ten years and had forgotten what a gorgeous place that is.
Than, the crazy, the awesome, the enchanted, the expensive, the one and only New York City. I had also forgotten what an incredible place that is.
We had a great time shopping, exploring and the best of all, I've got to perform with some of my very favorite musicians: Adriano Santos on drums, Helio Alves on keys and Gustavo Amarante on bass. It was awesome!!!!

Thank you very much! - February 1, 2008

Dear friends,
I just want to say a big thank you for everybody that made it to SOhO last Sunday!
We had a great night!
Full house and many. many magical moments.
We played many new songs, including some by Norma LaTuchie and Rique Pantoja.
The big surprise of the night was Luana.
My eleven year old daugther sang one of Norma's tunes with me and then decided to sit in for the whole night playing percussion.
I can't tell you what a joy it was for me to see her there on stage and also have my husband Paris in the audience with so many other dear friends.
I am also greatfull to be able to share the stage with such great musicians.
Thank you all, you are the best!
Peace,
Teka
